BLOODY DISGUSTING ! Cool beans! Here’s the synopsis: “When veteran
vampire hunter Edgar Frog finds himself destitute and almost friendless, he
thinks his live has hit bottom – but wealthy vampire-romance novelist Gwen
Liebling offers him a small fortune to go on the vampire hunt of a lifetime and
rescue her son Peter from the Alpha Vampire D.J.Dusk. With the help of his
friends Zoe, Lars and Blake, Edgar heads into a bloody battle to exterminate
evil.” Shooting is set to begin this November in South Africa.”
Even though LOST BOYS: THE TRIBE sucked donkey balls, it must have made a good amount of money on DVD and Blu-ray because according to Production Weely, Warner Premiere is gearing up for a third LOST BOYS movie!
We heard rumblings about a third LOST BOYS back in March, but haven’t heard much about it since… until now, that is! The official title for the sequel is LOST BOYS: THE THIRST. How you like them apples?
I kinda dig THE THIRST, it has a nice ring to it, and goes nicely as a counterpart to THE TRIBE. No real information is known about THE THIRST other than the confirmation that Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander (aka The Frog Bros.) will be returning for the third time around. Nice!
Is the world ready for another LOST BOYS movie? I’m not so sure, but if they put a little more effort in making it good, then maybe I’d actually be looking forward to checking this out. If it’s the same as THE TRIBE… well, god help us all!
