The dudes over at B-D have stumbled across an interesting piece of information this morning that may have you jumping for joy, scratching your head, or simply react indifferently. Apparently the diector for 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DARK DAYS has been found, and it’s some dude I’ve never heard of before.

Ben Ketai has been tapped to jump in the director’s spot. Ketai who? I don’t know. He wrote the web series 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: BLOOD TRAILS and 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DUST TO DUST, but beyond that? Not much. Then again, when you’ve soaked yourself this deep in the 30 DAYS OF NIGHT universe, then I suppose you’re the perfect dude for the job!

DARK DAYS goes a little something like this: Stella joins a group of vampire hunters in order to get revenge on Lilith – the vamp responsible for the attack on her Alaska town. Sweetness! Even though this has STD written all over, I’m still pretty excited to check this sucker out. Ketai wrote the script with Steve Niles, and filming is expected to begin next month in Vancouver, BC.
