Super hottie Kate Beckinsale is out making the rounds and promoting all things WHITEOUT this week (check out our interview with the lovely lady HERE), but you can only talk about WHITEOUT for so long until you start talking about UNDERWORLD. Right? Right.
IESB cornered Beckisnale and straight up asked her about the status of UNDERWORLD 4 and if she is planning on starring in the new trilogy. Sorry UNDERWORLD fans, but the outlook is not good at this point for Beckisnale’s return. She claims that a new trilogy is simply NOT TRUE, or at least she hasn’t heard of anything along those lines yet, and that no one has approached her to star in the upcoming UNDERWORLD 4.
Because she’s married to UNDERWORLD creator Len Wiseman, you’d figure she’d at least would have heard something already. But no, nothing… nothing at all. Boo-hoo. This, of course, coincides with reports late last week when Beckinale shot down questions regarding UNDERWORLD 4 to Collider (check that story HERE), the biggest difference this time being… you can watch her react to the question below.
I certainly hope she’s on board for UNDERWORLD 4 and for a new trilogy, but after seeing her reaction… my hopes are not high. WHITEOUT hits theaters September 11.
