Reports were streaming in over the weekend via Tim Ryan’s Reel Hawaii film production blog of the filming happenings in and around the glorious islands of Hawaii, that Robert Rodriguez and Nimrod Antal have been scouting the islands for locations to film their upcoming PREDATORS reboot.
While nothing is confirmed as of yet, the filming dates for the island shoot would be for 18 days in October. Yes folks, it appears as though the Predators are headed back to the jungle, at least for a little bit, when they’re not battling each other green-screen style in Austin, TX.
The scouting for the filming is on the Big Island, so don’t be surprised if it feels like the Predators have invaded the island of LOST. Hey, as long as they’re back in the jungle where they belong, seeing as how that seemed to work the best for the series thus far, I say go for it!
The new PREDATORS is about a group of humans who find themselves stranded on a planet home to Predators and must survive the horrors they encounter…
