When we showed you the artwork for Rob Zombie’s THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO, feedback was positive (check that shit out HERE). The cover was cool enough and it seemed to get the right people pumped up for it.
Apparently Anchor Bay Entertainment, those distributing the flick on DVD and Blu-ray, weren’t all that hit on that cover, so they busted a move and switched it up with the brand spankin’ new cover that you see above!
The big change? Instead of Superbeasto’s mug, we get him strangling a one-eyed monster. So they went with the more violent cover… nice! Maybe it was a ploy to deter parents from accidentally letting their kids rent it from the store, or they just felt a more violent cover was appropriate. Either way, I gotta admit… I like the new cover more!
Drink it all in now, and get ready for THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO on DVD and Blu-ray September 22nd.
