Meat Train maker’s next

Who else thought that, despite a plot hole or two, MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN was a pretty solid freakin’ flick? I sure as hell did. Well, the director responsible for its very dark and gory look, Ryuhei Kitamura (right), is on his way to delivering his next horror feature. It’s called TEROTOMA. Yeah, I know it’s a strange name. Perhaps, I’ll let you know what it refers to, so that you can get a bit more excited…

“Teratoma” is the medical condition in which a subject forms a large tumor. Now that is just gross, but should make for some creepy horror. Plus, Kitamura is so good with physical ailments (see MEAT TRAIN) that I think this new flick will serve as another sick showpiece for his work.

The script for TERATOMA was written by Jim Agnew and Sean Keller, the duo behind GIALLO. No word yet on the cast or even an official plot beyond what the title means. I’ll keep my eyes wide open for more info as it comes up.
