Just yesterday, I sprung the TRAP on an upcoming genre indie with an engaging new teaser trailer. Now today, the film’s director, Jason Horton, just shot The Arrow a bunch of all-new, exclusive pics as well as the inside track on the cast! The pics are posted up top and below, each conveying TRAP’s dark storyline nicely. Now, onto the cast:
The film stars Alan Perada (BODY SNATCHERS), Alonzo F. Jones (EDGES OF DARKNESS, SUNDAY SCHOOL), Annemarie Pazmino (SORORITY FOREVER, SMALL TOWN SATURDAY NIGHT, ON BLOODY SUNDAY) and Ashton Blanchard, who will be making her feature debut.
This is the plot that all the above will be caught up in: It follows a couple of off kilter kidnappers whose plan goes bad when one of them falls in love with their teen aged victim.
Well, if TRAP sounds like your type of trauma, the good news is that it’s finished filming. Now, hopefully Mr. Horton will be able to get the ball rolling with film festivals, distribution, and such. I’ll be sure to fill you guys in on more as I hear it.
