Well, it looks like sexy Milla Jovovich is moving up in the film world… by a week. Yes, it seems that the starlet’s upcoming thriller A PERFECT GETAWAY has just been moved up in the 2009 summer releasing schedule. Instead of releasing on August 14th, Milla and company will now be hitting the big screen on August 7th.
I’m not exactly sure what type of tactical move this is or even if it is one at all. I believe its new competition is now G.I. JOE whereas it was previously going up against DISTRICT 9. Actually, I guess that’s not too bad a move then, however August ain’t that far away and if GETAWAY is now opening within the first weekend of the month, it better start shooting out some TV advertising. I haven’t seen any yet. Perhaps that will change.
The plot goes like this: A Hawaiian honeymoon turns dangerous for two lovers (Steve Zahn and Milla Jovovich) when they discover they are being stalked by a pair of killers (Timothy Olyphant and Kiele Sanchez).
That really is some sweet casting. Hence, I am looking forward to this flick. What about you guys?
