Krause gets Beastly

The CBS Films production of BEASTLY is currently filming in Montreal, but that isn’t stopping them from continuing on the casting train, as it appears one Peter Krause (“Six Feet Under”) has joined Mary-Kate Olsen, Alex Pettyfer, and Vanessa Hudgens in the modern take of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

Krause will play the materialistic father of a rich, handsome teen (Pettyfer) who plays a cruel joke on a classmate not knowing she’s a witch (Olsen).

So basically, he’s gonna be playing a father of a douche-bag who gets what’s coming to him, aka the Beast. This movie is almost the equivalent to nails on the chalkboard for me, and while Krause is a solid addition, he isn’t helping my distaste for this project. What could help? Throw in a naughty lesbo scene with Olsen and Hudgens, increase the body count, and make this f*cker R rated, and I might give a flying f*ck, but since that won’t ever happen…
