Rejoice, my friends! For we have ourselves another upcoming horror indie set amidst every genre fan’s favorite time of year—Halloween! It’s called SPIRITS OF THE FALL and it’s featuring a pretty fun-sounding supernatural storyline that actually reminded me of The Arrow’s 100 FEET. I took the liberty of posting SPIRITS’ trailer for you all down below. Although it’s clearly a low-budget effort, there is a nice genre style to it. Plus, that poster up top just friggin’ gives me the creeps.
Here’s the plot: A dark psychological/supernatural piece which follows a widower living in a haunted hotel, coping with the death of his wife and haunted by his wife’s spirit and the evil soul of her killer.
SPIRITS was directed by Russ Diaper who co-wrote the script with Paul Kelleher. The cast is composed of Rami Hilmi, Paul Kelleher, Melissa Stanton, Martin Wilkinson, Fiona Domenica, and Mr. Diaper as well. For more info, you can check out the official site here and MySpace page here.
