Death Stop premiers

It’s been so damn long since I heard anything on the sick-yet-fun, grindhouse-homage DEATH STOP HOLOGCAUST. Thankfully, this depraved little bastard finally reared its ugly head once again with some promising news. Shall we take a pit-stop and find out what’s up?

Well, it seems that the flick has scored a cool little premier. The unveiling will be happening on Saturday, July 11th at the Cedar Lee Theater in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Also, in conjunction with the upcoming premier, DEATH STOP has completely revamped its official website with lots of kick-ass new pics and a fantastically grindhouse-looking trailer! Click right here to see for yourself. Also check out the plot:

The film is intended to be a gory and raw ride that takes place over a two-day period in the lives of two young women. While heading to a summer home for a vacation on a remote island, they happen upon a group of locals who torture and kill outsiders. As they desperately try to find help, it becomes more and more obvious that the entire island is in on the ruse and will stop at nothing to preserve their secret.

Sounds like some good times, right? Here’s what producer, Aaron Russell had to say recently, “DEATH STOP is very near completion. We’re extremely excited at the way it has turned out and how vintage it looks.” Whoa, so the flick isn’t finished yet? Well, hopefully writer/director Justin Russell will be able to get everything finalized before July 11th. The only thing that really puzzles me is that I can’t seem to find the names of the people in the cast. Weird, huh? Unless… it never was a movie at all, but real!!!!
