Hey, it’s Friday, so let’s have some fun and learn about a brand new indie slasher! This latest killer is simply called LEE and it is being written and directed by John C. Dusek, who worked as a visual FX artist on BEYOND THE DUNWICH HORROR and NUN OF THAT. The poster to the right is okay, but the image down below is what’s really selling me on this bad boy.
The plot is pretty basic, at least so far, but I do see some room for potential. What do you guys think: The film takes place deep in the Mojave Desert, Arizona. 5 young friends take a getaway camping trip in the middle of the desert for motorcycle riding and good times. The group is stalked by a man named Lee who lives secluded in the desert. Each one finds themselves at the brutal hands of Lee as their weekend turns from good times to pure evil.
Quads can be pretty annoying, so it may be quite fun watching these riders get “run over”. And, again, that pic below really says a lot in terms of sexy/scary watchability. That poor dangling lasse is actress, Sandy Oliver, and she is joined by Kathryn M. Hoyt, Jessena Fernandez, Noah Webb, James Love, and Joe Pegorin. LEE is hoping to release this summer through DesertGrind Films. For more info, you can check out its official website here.
