Soul Fire Rising hottie

Well, my friends, there are two reasons why I am writing about a horror-esque web series today. One, I guess it’s kinda a slow news day and two, Kelly Stables, the star of the series, is just freakin’ gorgeous! Dear Lord, look at that pic up top. Now, there is facial feature perfection. It’s sort of hard to believe that Ms. Stables actually played the less-than-lovely “Samara” in the crappy RING TWO. Anyways, the name of Kelly’s series is SOUL FIRE RISING and it does seem to feature a pretty cool “angels fighting demons” concept. You can check out a trailer for the series by clicking right here. Here’s how the story goes:

SOUL FIRE RISING takes us on a journey between heaven and hell, where Demons and Wingers fight for human souls in the ultimate battle for supremacy.

Lilith, a demon rebel with her own agenda, takes advantage of the vices Earth has to offer, while also taking many souls. The Winger, Gabriel, turns Lilith’s world upside-down when he summons her and makes her an offer she can’t refuse. Lilith has only to fulfill one task: find the Winger, Eve, and bring her back to Gabriel. The value of Eve’s soul is worth over a million human souls — and Eve is even more vulnerable now that she’s decided to become mortal.

If Eve’s soul is captured, all Hell could break loose.

On who’s side will Lilith stand?

Hmm, this doesn’t sound too bad at all. And from the looks of RISING’s official website, I think this show is going for a nicely hardcore, Buffy-style edge. Click here to check it out as well as catch the first four episodes. Ms. Stables plays “Eve” and I posted a pic of her in action below. The series is directed by Dale Fabrigar and written by Kurt Patino.
