It’s been a little while since I came across any weird, mind-f*ck types of genre offerings… until today! The name of the film is THE FARM and trust me, it has nothing to do with pigs and horses. Quite the contrary, the plotline seems to start off at one strange point, and then completely flip over to an even stranger one. Make sense? Am I just high on glue fumes? See for yourself. Here’s the synopsis:
A man awakens to discover his entire community has vanished without a trace. During his investigation, he discovers that he is the disappeared, however, and that he’s now prisoner to a host of aliens that need the human race for their own survival.
Trippy shit, huh? I know I’d sure hate being a prisoner to a bunch of friggin’ aliens with no humans left to interact with. I hope that THE FARM doesn’t just give us a very introverted view of this whole situation kind of like the way that SIGNS did. Although shooting has yet to begin and there’s no word on casting, we did learn that Ruairi Robinson (who I’ve never heard of, top right) will be directing for Spitfire Productions. I’ll let you know any more info on this FARM as it is harvested.
