Snow White now horror

Eaten any poison apples lately? I only ask because it seems that we’ve got one headed our way in the film form of a new, scary adaptation of the beloved children’s classic, SNOW WHITE. Yup, just like ALICE, it seems that the fairest one of all is turning to the darker side. This seems to be a big-time trend emerging within our industry. Although this SNOW WHITE project is still looking to secure finances, it does have a director, A.D. Calvo, who describes the plot like this:

After wavering on her end of a suicide pact, Snow White, a young woman who appears to be the fairest of them all, finds herself trapped in a fantastical nightmare world. As she journeys through seven portals in search of an escape, she comes to realize the cause of her tremendous sense of guilt, the secret she’s been hiding, and the reason behind her travels.

Sounds like it could wind up being pretty trippy. I’d definitely be down for checking this concept out. Plus, we do already know who’ll be playing Ms. WHITE — newcomer, Amy Crowdis (below).
