More Pack pics!

Nearly one month ago, I spoke to you guys an one killer-seeming forthcoming horror flick called THE PACK and posted one helluva first image of one freaky-looking creature. In fact, that pic alone gave me a very good feeling about this flick, which also happens to be brandishing a nicely macabre plot. I’ll refresh your minds of that in a moment, but first…

We have two more new pics to observe! That sure is one towering inferno up top. I really like the dark figures standing in the foreground assessing the devastation. Could one of those figures be that strange man posted below? Now, is that dude supposed to be some kind of secret cult agent? I don’t know why I get that vibe from him. You can form your own opinions after checking out the plot:

In the middle of a snowy no man’s land, Charlotte picks up Max, a hitchhiker; they stop in a truck-stop restaurant, and when Max doesn’t come back from the bathroom, Charlotte starts looking for him in vain. She decides to return during the night but gets kidnapped by the bartender, La Spack, who turns out to be Max’s mother and needs to feed her kids, “The pack”, a bunch of blood lusting ghouls. Charlotte now faces a terrifying reality: these ghouls are already dead… and hungry. Alone and in the middle of nowhere, she quickly realizes… she’s next on the menu.

Blood-lusting ghouls are sometimes a forgotten threat in horror movie-dom. I’m glad that THE PACK is looking to bring ’em back! THE PACK is coming from French writer/director Franck Richard. His cast includes Émilie Dequenne, Yolande Moreau, Philippe Nahon, Benjamin Biolay, and Brice Fournier. Filming is still going on in the UK with a December release scheduled for France.
