Hail to the return of The King, baby! Just a couple weeks back, I gave you guys some words from Mr. Ron Perlman in regards to taking over the role of Elvis for the sequel BUBBA NOSFERATU. Well, today, we’ve got even more details on the flick once again from HELLBOY himself! Take a gander at what he said to the fiends over at Bloody-D:

“I’m hearing that its looking really, really good that we’ll shoot it the minute I get done with SONS OF ANARCHY, which is early October. As sequels go, it won’t disappoint. If you liked the first one, I think you’re going to really dig the new take.”

F*cking sweet! I still can’t believe that this sequel is actually happening. Although I’m sure many would have liked to see Bruce Campbell reprise his hunk-a-hunk-a-burning role from the original, at least he did give Perlman his full blessing to take over. Ron admits to being a huge fan of BUBBA HO-TEP, hence I’m confident that the dude is aiming to do NOSFERATU justice.

Oh, yeah, did I mention that this one also stars Paul Giamatti as manager Col. Tom Parker?! That is just incredible! Giamatti is definitely one of the greatest actors of our time and one damn cool dude to boot! Bring this new BUBBA on!
