House On Straw Hill pics

Just last month, my man, Eric told us all about an upcoming remake of which we’d all never heard of the original. I hope that makes sense. If not, the amaretto in my glass apologizes. Anyway, said remake is called HOUSE ON STRAW HILL (some may have also known the 1976 version as EXPOSÉ) and apparently it’s moving forward nicely. Filming has already begun in Suffolk, England for writer/director Martin Kemp. Plus, some real sweet pics have already surfaced on the ’net!

I believe that the plot focuses on a sort of “battle of the babes” which I always welcome in horror. Up top (or should I say ‘in one corner’) is Anna Brecon who appears to be waking up to one pissed off monthly visitor. Down below (‘in the other corner’) is the ultra-sexy Jane March projecting a nicely bitchy stare. Here’s the precise plot for these two ladies:

A best-selling author named Paula Martin is suffering writer’s block on her latest book, and goes to an old house in the country to get her creative juices flowing again. Paula requests her agent to send her an assistant, who turns out to be a young woman named Linda. At first the two get along great—but then Linda becomes manipulative, then violent, then homicidal.

It kind of sounds a bit like SWIMMING POOL (starring hottie Ludivine Sagnier) which I really enjoyed and not only because of Sagnier’s nude scenes. Anywhoo, I’m kinda digging on this STRAW HILL. It may prove for some sexy, scary fun. The rest of the cast includes Jennifer Matter, Danny Young, Triana Terry, and Billy Murray. Hopefully we’ll hear about a release date soon.
