A couple of months back, I got the word out on a scientific indie horror called EXPERIMENT 7. The cool thing about the flick was that it appeared to be conducting its own little test: if you combined a group of “horror indie darlings” such as Joe Davison (100 TEARS), Alan Rowe Kelly (EAT YOUR HEART OUT), Timo Rose (director of BARRICADE), Rod Grant (100 TEARS), Raine Browne (BARRICADE), and Dwight Cenac (COUNTRY ROAD 14) to make a new horror movie, how would it turn out?

From the brand new pics from the flick up top and below, I’d say that EXPERMENT 7 appears to be turning out pretty sweet thus far. That’s one mean-looking mutant bastard above and poor Candice Rojas at the bottom sure is in some deep experimental shit. For a couple more new pics, click here. The post-apocalyptic plot reads like this:

Dr. Felix Copper is a dedicated scientist who has vowed to save mankind. And in the post nuclear world he just might be its only hope. While traveling through the devastated ruins of city after city he teams up with two unlikely heroes, Sam and William, two survivalists who have made it a habit of saving him from the onslaught of mutants that constantly get in their way. It isn’t until they meet Aco, a supermodel turned weapons expert, that they realize their full potential and really start to get the upper hand. Now Dr. Copper just may be able to do what he was sent out to do, save mankind.

Not friggin’ bad at all! Davison is your writer/director with everyone else having a starring role. EXPERIMENT is currently shooting in Florida and I believe a trailer is not too far off. For more info, you can check out its MySpace page here.
