Do you like ladies’ locker room scenes in horror movies? I personally can’t stand them (wink wink). However, if they are your cup of “guilty pleasure” tea, then I think you’ll want to check out the brand new full-length trailer for the indie slasher BEG. The main baddie of this flick certainly seems to enjoy stalking girls in their skivvies (like a good slasher should). The rest of the movie as a whole seems pretty damn sweet as well. I highly recommend you check out the trailer by clicking here. One other awesome aspect you’ll also notice right away is the top notch genre-friendly cast assembled. Check this:
You’re getting Debbie Rochon, Tiffany Shepis, Kristina Klebe, Tony Todd, Tony Moran, and PJ Soles! You can’t beat that with a bloody stick! Now take a stab at the basic plot: Burnt out detective Jack Fox is being forced into early retirement. When the worst serial killer since the Boston Strangler begins a killing spree, Jack is torn between a life of retirement and sanity, or helping rookie detective Steve Ryan stop the maniac who is stalking the streets of Salem.
I do believe that BEG has now risen to the ranks of my “must-see” list. Hopefully writer/director Kevin MacDonald will not disappoint. Considering his stars, the theme, and the locker room, I don’t think that is possible. It’s looking to release some time in 2009.
