Hot Red Riding Hood

Have you guys heard of this new horror-themed spin on the Little Red Riding Hood story called ROTKÄPPCHEN: THE BLOOD OF RED RIDING HOOD, yet? I don’t have a clue what ROTKÄPPCHEN means or how the f*ck to pronounce it, but the movie sure seems like it kicks sexy ass. I’m definitely diggin’ that new poster for the flick up top with Red’s sultry stare. Some new pics were recently released as well. I’ll get to ’em in a minute, but first check out the plot:

Rose (Stefanie Geils) is a German teenager who comes to America to live with her grandmother (Betty Biehler). Things don’t go so well when she begins attending the local high school, where she’s ridiculed by the other students. Her only solace is an old book of fairy tales. She’s eventually befriended by sexy classmate Summer (Sativa Verte) and catches the eye of popular guy Nick (Phil Gibson)—thus earning the enmity of his girlfriend Bridgette (Nicole Leigh Vuono)—while something fierce and hairy starts bloodily killing the town’s residents.

Just a portrait of everyday life for a teenage girl. Well, not quite. The girls back in my high school were never as curvy as the ones attending Rose’s. You’ll see what I mean if you check out the teaser trailer I’ve posted at the very bottom. But first, you’ll find two new pics from the flick. Stefanie Geils certainly looks cute all frightened in her little red hood (she kind of reminds me of the super hot Ms. Amy Adams). And that next pic of the film’s hairy creature is pretty damn scary. I think this HOOD may be worth trying on. It’s currently in postproduction for writer/director Harry Sparks and is aiming for a June 30, 2009 release.
