The Brandon Routh-led horror flick DEAD OF NIGHT has added two more cast members, even as it already rolls in New Orleans. Taye Diggs (HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL, RENT) and Anita Briem (last summer’s JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH 3D) have joined the production, which is being directed by Kevin Munroe (TMNT).
DEAD OF NIGHT – an adaptation of the Italian comic series “Dylan Dog” – tells the tale of the adventures of supernatural private eye, Dylan Dog, who seeks out the monsters of London in his signature red shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans.
Diggs will play Vargas, the head of a vampire family, and Briem is Elizabeth, one of Dylan Dog’s (Routh’s) potential romantic conquests… Sam Huntington (who was Jimmy Olsen to Routh’s Clark Kent in SUPERMAN RETURNS) was cast earlier this month as Dog’s sidekick.
