I’m sorry, but the following piece of advertising for HBO’s TRUE BLOOD was just too creatively bad-ass to pass up! First New Zealand gives us Peter Jackson, now it gives us the incredible posters up top! The one-sheets are advertising this June’s second season of the series, but that isn’t nearly the awesome part. If you’ll look closely at the bottom of the posters you’ll find a row of stakes at the ready to snap off In Case Of a Vampire Attack!
These ads are just genius and the stakes are even actual wood! Could you imagine these things posted in a place like New York City? People may actually use them! New Zealand must be a very safe place to live (unless you’re a vampire). Nonetheless, I still can’t think of a cooler way to advertise a sweet vampire show that I still haven’t caught on DVD.
TRUE BLOOD comes from Oscar-winning creator, Alan Ball, and stars Anna Paquin (below), Stephen Moyer , Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, and Valerie Cruz. Keep your eyes open and fangs sharp for the show’s second season premier this June.
