Details of a cool horror project previously unknown to me popped into my mailbox early last night – a film by the name of SLOW THE DECAY. The subtitle could be “A Tragic Lovestory”, because it’s about the fantastic lengths we’ll go to for sex- I mean, for love

the flick was co-written and directed by Dan Zachary and produced by Trevor Trombley and John Knox. Read on for the synopsis:

Jeff Simmons had it all – his beautiful wife Samantha, a career in the making and a new home in Seattle. But when the love of his life is snatched away by a mysterious, fatal illness, Jeff is caught in a downward spiral of despair and loneliness…

…that is, until Samantha returns from the grave… with an unquenchable thirst for human blood…

Jeff struggles to choose between saving the woman he loves, or stopping the monstrosity she’s become. He soon finds himself on a bloody path of secrets, violence and murder, and must come to terms with the fact that he might be more evil than the unrecognizable beast who has emerged within his bride.
