Holy f*cking shite! Not only do we have ourselves another young-adults-on-a-camping-trip horror, but we also have another killer-sasquatch… and it’s all in one movie! So, technically speaking, we’ve actually attained something new through combining two ideas that are old! What flick am I talking about? It’s THE SHRIEKING which, from it’s title, you wouldn’t expect to involve camping or a sasquatch. But damned if that isn’t precisely what the plot sets up:
For four college students, a weekend camping trip turns into a living nightmare as they stumble upon something in the woods that should not be.
Might that “something that should not be” be a huge-ass shrieking sasquatch?! I guess until we set up camp with this flick, we’ll never know. But at least I’ve got some pics for you up top and below. Up top is your basic bloody, screaming chick. At the bottom, I do believe that is a blurry view of said sasquatch (why is it that most pics of a “Bigfoot” are blurry?). THE SHRIEKING comes from writer/director Shawn Hunt. It stars Anna Bridgforth, Nathan Faudree, Jordan Finn, Logan Hunter, Michael Montero, and Kelly Ray. So far, no one has seen an official release date.
