I am so f*cking sick of hearing all this shit about the next two TWILIGHT sequels. The first piece of crap entry isn’t even on DVD yet and it’s NEW MOON this and ECLIPSE that. Who f*cking cares?! The TWILIGHT lovers out there may bark (in a high tweeny voice), “Stop bashing my TWILIGHT! If you hate it so much, then why do you write about it?!” Well, my tweener wiener, for some reason this crap is still considered horror and this is an opinionated horror site. Happy? Probably not.
Well, thankfully, today I am proud of my purpose for posting news regarding TWILIGHT. Just two days ago, it was stated that Juan Bayona would be directing ECLIPSE. It was another annoying announcement for a flick that wasn’t going to be happening until 2010. But at least it got even more lame-ass TWILIGHT buzz out there! Here’s my point (and why all this sequel squealing is irrelevant). Apparently, now the news regarding Bayona was complete bullshit!
According to Erik Feig, the president of Summit Entertainment, the directing job for ECLIPSE hasn’t even been offered to anyone. So who the f*ck decided to just pencil in Bayona’s name? I tell you who. It’s the same propaganda-pushing corporate executives that have been leaking out all the other premature crap regarding these sequels. They’re just taking advantage of their too-young-to-understand demographic by feeding them horseshit and getting them to talk about their product even more. Yeah, I know this is only my opinion, but I bet many of our fellow AITH-ers would agree with me. Suck it, TWILIGHT!
