The Eye 3-D!

Production Weekly has announced that there is to be yet another entry into THE EYE franchise. This one is THE CHILD’S EYE, which will be – shock of all shocks – presented in 3-D. ‘Cuz that’s just what you do nowadays…

No word on what the plot may be, but apparently The Pang Brothers, who directed the original EYE and its two sequels, (as well as the English-language J-horror wannabe THE MESSENGERS), will once again be at the helm. It will star Rainie Young (pictured right) and Elanne Kwong (pictured below), both of whom are stars in their native China.

I honestly didn’t even know there was a part 2 and a part 3 in existence. Proves that you can’t say it’s just Hollywood that recycles its tired ideas ad nauseum…
