Do you kiddies still remember this past January’s MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D? I sure as hell hope so! It may not have made as much money as the second coming of Jason, but I do believe it was actually the better horror remake (not that F13 wasn’t fun). And the experience in 3D paid off in spades! I really wish I caught it in theaters a second time.
Alas, BLOODY has now exited theaters, leaving my hopeful-for-a-second-view heart broken. But wait, some great news has just swung our way! The announcement for MY BLOODY VALENTINE’s DVD release has just been made! And the even better news is… it’s being released in both 2D and 3D versions! Kick ass! Lionsgate Home Entertainment says that the Special Edition DVD and Blue Ray will come complete with FOUR pairs of 3D glasses! Here’s what else will be included:
Bonus materials including audio commentary, two featurettes – “Deep Inside My Bloody Valentine” a behind the scenes look at the making of the film and “Sex, Blood and Screams” – the make-up FX from the film, deleted scenes and a gag reel.
MY BLOODY V 3D will be knocking down store shelves on May 19th. Get your pick-axe and miner’s mask ready!
