Dread Central has got themselves a pretty cool behind the scenes look at the first day of shooting on FROZEN, director Adam Green’s new thriller. I’m in New York, and we just suffered about 10″ of snow, but I guess I’ll take it over what Green and co. are dealing with in Utah, where they’re apparently getting hit with a frickin’ blizzard. Hope the cameras don’t freeze!
Green himself says: “This is going to be one of the most physically challenging and insanely difficult film shoots of all time… All practical, no sound stage bullshit, at 10,000 feet, on the side of a mountain, -20 degree weather, with the cast suspended 50 feet in the air.”
FROZEN stars Kevin Zegers as a snowboarder who gets stranded on a chairlift halfway up a New England mountain along with his best friend (Shawn Ashmore) and his girlfriend (Emma Bell) as the slopes close for the weekend. The three must fight the icy elements to survive.
