I’ve yet to wrap my eyes around a “Bollywood” horror flick. For the uninitiated, the term “Bollywood” basically means it’s from India. I’m sure that the land of Ghandi has made many a suspense film, just none that I’ve ever heard about. Regardless, my unawareness has now changed thanks to a new offering simply titled 13B. No, it’s not a remake of P2. However, it does seem to bear some resemblance to 1408. Take a look at the neat-o plot and see for yourself:

13B explores the extent to which television controls our lives, and what happens when that power becomes literal. It’s set in the titular apartment, into which a man named Manohar has just moved with his family, and where he discovers that the television is showing what it wants them to see and beginning to have a malefic influence on them.

I’m also detecting a bit of a THE RING vibe too with the whole “television is bad” angle. Anyway, I’m kinda digging this Bollywood concept and I friggin’ love the poster up top. There’s a pic from the flick for you below. To see some more, click right here.

13B was written and directed by Vikram K. Kumar and stars R. Madhavan, Neetu Chandra, Poonam Dhillon, Murali Sharma, and Sachin Khedekar. It will be opening in limited release in India and the U.S. on March 6th. For way more info and a trailer, I urge you to check out the flick’s awesome official website right here.
