Pig People previews

A long time ago, we tipped you guys off on a suspenseful swine offering called THE PIG PEOPLE. The interesting thing about it (other than the obvious) was that it was gong to star rapper (and bad dancer) Master P as well as his gettin’-giggy-wit-it son Lil’ Romeo. Well, now the flick has its own official website, which actually looks kind of neat.

It was through this website that I found and watched two new trailers for the PIG flick, which enabled me to discover something else very interesting: the movie actually looks pretty damn good! It’s got some cool allusions to other half man/half animal hybrids of the past, flashes of intense gore, and a cheerful collection of your “horror staple” young adults. I recommend you check everything out by clicking here.

The “oink and slash” plot goes like this: Five college film students venture into the woods seeking to debunk an 18th century Louisiana myth surrounding the fearsome, half-human, half-swine “pig people,” and find themselves’ terrorized. PIG PEOPLE was directed by David Gueringer and in addition to the rapping father and son, stars Blake Lee, Marshal Hilton, Melissa Labatut, Mickey Faerch, Nicole Andrews (below), and Daeg Faerch.
