H2 still casting…

More minor casting news coming from Rob Zombie’s Myspace page regarding H2, which should begin shooting very soon in Georgia. Dayton Callie (pictured right) and Richard Brake (pictured below) have joined the cast, both playing coroners. Callie’s character’s name is “Alan Hooks”, while Brake plays “Gary Scott” who is apparently obsessed with f*cking corpses. Literally… Yikes.

Fans of the late, great DEADWOOD will recognize Callie as “Charlie Utter”, the town’s lovable (if ornery) deputy sheriff. Brake has starred in such films as BATMAN BEGINS and DOOM, and can usually be counted on to play a despicable scumbag. It’s kinda tough when you’re typecast as the guy most likely to f*ck a corpse…

The two actors join Tyler Mane, Scout Taylor Compton, Chris Hardwicke, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Ezra Buzzington, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Daniel Roebuck, and Danielle Harris. Zombie’s film is scheduled to open in late August.
