In an article about how big a f*cking headache the 3D revolution is becoming, The NY Times features a brand new behind-the-scenes look at AVATAR – my most anticipated movie of ’09. Of course, we can see the man, the myth, James Cameron, looking at some sort of… sleep chamber? High-tech tanning bed? Big F*cking Gun carrying case? Not sure, but it gets my geek-senses tingling, I’ll tell you that much.

AVATAR is currently set to open on December 18th, but I won’t truly be convinced until we’re in July, at the earliest. You know how Cameron is – if it isn’t right, he won’t release it.

Meanwhile, two of the flick’s little known stars are going to be pretty damn big before AVATAR is released: Lead Sam Worthington shows up as a “good” Terminator in TERMINATOR SALVATION, and Zoe Saldana (pictured below) will be seen in J.J. Abrams’ STAR TREK.
