Oh, you lucky horror hound dogs! Your pals at AITH have scored a collection of pics from not one, but two genre flicks coming out this year from Universal! Consequently, both flicks also happen to have ties to Mr. Wes Craven.

First up is the remake of Craven’s LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. You’ll find a pic of two very nervous, blood-stained people from that flick up top. I’m looking forward to checking this one out (though I’ll admit I do have to see the original first). In case you didn’t already know, here’s the plot: After kidnapping and butchering two teenagers, a gang unknowingly finds refuge with the parents of one of the victims — hosts who devise gruesome revenge.

The second set of pics (which you’ll find below) are from Wes Craven’s new 25/8 which, according to my man, Eric, is getting a new title. This one’s got a pretty intriguing plot. Check it: In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer.

Adam “Bug” Heller (Max Thierot) was supposed to die on the bloody night his father went insane. Unaware of his dad’s terrifying crimes, he has been plagued by nightmares since he was a baby. But if Bug hopes to save his friends from the monster that’s returned, he must face an evil that won’t rest…until it finishes the job it began the day he was born.
