How’s this for an original idea? A bunch of dinosaurs wrecking havoc in present day! What, you’ve heard that one before? JURASSIC what? You must be crazy. Anyways, we’ve got a fun-sounding beastie that’ll be heading our way in 2009 called RAPTOR RANCH. You’ll find a cool storyboard sample from the flick up top. I know the name basically says it all, but have a look at the fast plot description for the hell of it:
A small Texas town gets overrun by blood thirsty raptors. A group of people attempt to fend off the dinos at a cattle ranch.
Yes, this flick sounds pretty basic. And yes, it will be making its premier on the Sci-Fi channel. But there’s no denying my morbid curiosity on the copious amounts of carnage that could be delivered by a bunch of raptors running through a ranch full of cattle. And I heard that the filmmakers are promising gysers of blood. So maybe RAPTOR will be worth checking out. It should be airing some time this April.
