Here’s a zombie tale that isn’t necessarily like the others (although nowadays you have to be) called MUTANTS, from French director David Morlet. In the last few years, “French horror” has become synonymous with “f*cking cool” and this looks like no exception. Although the standard zombie apocalypse looks to be occurring in the world, the main thrust of the story seems to simply be two characters as one slowly dies from an infection. Eerie stuff indeed. MUTANTS stars Hélène de Fougerolles (pictured below) and Francis Renaud. Unfortuantely, no word on when it’ll become available – in the States or otherwise. We’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for this one though, as it looks like a grabber.
