I frankly don’t know what the hell is going on in the trailer for WALKING DISTANCE, and I suppose that can be seen as a good thing. Something about FBI agents, a missing girl, and black goo infecting a town. I think. You can judge for yourself by checking out Dread Central, cuz the lucky bums are the first to get their hands on the trailer. If that’s not enough, they’ve got a handful of images from the diseased flick, one of which you can spy above.
Here’s the synopsis found on imdb: A idyllic, small, self-sufficient community. On the surface, it seems like the perfect neighborhood. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. But… the pastoral exterior conceals a dark past and an even darker secret. As a group of individuals – each with their own ties and agendas with the town and each other – converges on the enclave, strange things begin to happen. Very strange things. Strange enough to test – and then break – the very fabric of reality itself.
WALKING DISTANCE comes from director Mel House, who last helmed CLOSET SPACE. His new one stars genre vets Reggie Bannister, Adrienne King, Glenn Morshower, and Debbie Rochon. It is currently in post-production.
