Back in May, we gave you a heads-up on a new vampire flick called LAST NIGHT, starring the one and only Steven Seagal, who will always be appreciated around these parts. Well, it seems as though the film has undergone a title change. It shall now be known as AGAINST THE DARK, which has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?

Seagal will Katana master Tao (naturally), who leads a special ops squad of ex-military vigilantes on a massacre mission, their target: vampires. On the post-apocalyptic globe, sucked dry by bloodthirsty vampires, a few remaining survivors are trapped in an infected hospital. Tao is their only hope and he knows the only cure is execution. Now it’s time for the last stand against the flesh-eating vampires and there’s nothing left to lose but the last of humanity.

Emma Catherwood, Tanoai Reed, Skye Bennett, Jenna Harrison co-star in the Richard Crudo-directed film, which hits the home video market February 10th. I’m there with bells on, as well as a fake poneytail attached to my skull.

(Fun fact: According to Seagal’s IMDB biography page, he’s “striking”, “boyishly handsome”, and “usually impeccably dressed”. Wonder who wrote that…)
