Death Stop sites

A couple of months back, I let you guys in on the brutal horror indie DEATH STOP HOLOCAUST. It had a pretty sweet grindhouse gore feel to it as well as some freakishly masked bad guys (up top). And now, the flick has its official website and MySpace page up and running.

You can click on either of the links up above and catch a great assortment of stuff on the flick from tons of stills (one’s below) to some very cool vintage posters (like the one up top) to two heart-pumping trailers. I definitely recommend checking out either site.

Now, take a bite out of DEATH STOP’s plot: The film is intended to be a gory and raw ride that takes place over a two-day period in the lives of two young women. While heading to a summer home for a vacation on a remote island, they happen upon a group of locals who torture and kill outsiders. As they desperately try to find help, it becomes more and more obvious that the entire island is in on the ruse and will stop at nothing to preserve their secret.

I’m looking forward to this one. It seems to combine a lot of happy horror elements. DEATH STOP was written and directed by Justin Russell and is aiming for a release some time in 2009.
