A Zombie Xmas!

‘Tis the season, folks, like it or not. Every f*cking commercial I see has Christmas music in it, every store is decorated like Santa’s workshop, and every other piece of mail I receive has a wreath or bear dressed like an elf on it. I’m not a Scrooge by any means – I enjoy Christmas – in December. It isn’t even Thanksgiving yet and we’ve pretty much fast-forwarded an entire month. Hell, this shite began immeditaly after Halloween in my town.

Oh well, at least there’s still a little horror to cut into the charming holiday season. I found out about a lovely little title called SILENT NIGHT, ZOMBIE NIGHT, which shoud munch into Baby Jesus’ birthday like a fat intruder bites into a cookie you’ve bribed him with. Velvet Hammer Films is producing, and they just announced the project on their Official Site. It gets to filming next month.

The only plot that is offered is this: X-mas themed “Zombie Night” has a viral outbreak trapping L.A.P.D. Officer Frank Talbot with his angry former partner and soon to be ex-wife.

Lew Temple (Devil’s Rejects), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp; pictured below) and Vernon Wells (Commando) will star for director Sean Cain. Apparently an early 2009 release is being planned. Ho ho ho, muthaf*ckers!
