As of right now, ZOMBIE STRIPPERS is at the top of my Netflix rental queue. The buzz on this bad boy has been so kick ass, I could almost eat my brain out for not seeing it sooner. Nonetheless, it should be arriving this week and I’m greatly looking forward to it. And if the viewing goes as well as I expect, it appears that I may have something else to look forward to.
Apparently we may have ourselves a shot at a ZOMBIE STRIPPERS sequel according the original’s writer/director Jay Lee. He believes that DVD sales will convince Sony that a sequel is deserving. That sounds plausible enough to me. Plus, Lee also revealed that he has a great idea on a potential storyline for a sequel. Well, what more do you need? In today’s lower-budget horror movie market, not much. And that’s cool with me. From what I’ve heard, Lee has crafted one special piece of art about undead exotic dancers and I have no qualms about seeing what other creatively horrific tricks he’s got up his sleeve.
What do you guys who’ve already caught the STRIPPERS think? Is Mr. Lee out of his gourd? Or do want more blood, guts, and boobs? I truly am curious.
