The trailer for THE GRUDGE 3 is another in a long line of previews that feel its necessary to remind you of scenes from other installments in the franchise. It’s as if, after you’re puzzled by the title THE GRUDGE 3, a lightbulb will go off in your head while you watch clips from the first two. “Ohhh, The GRUDGE 3!”

Anyway, it looks exactly like a GRUDGE movie; take that how you will. It was directed by Toby Wilkins (“Devil’s Trade”) and written by Brad Keene (THE GRAVEDANCERS), and stars Shawnee Smith, Johanna Braddy, and former Star Trek hottie Mirina Sirtis, who is most certainly a MILF at this stage of her career (check her out below!).

What’s it about? (Does it matter?) It revolves around a young Japanese woman who holds the secret to ending the Grudge curse, where she travels to a haunted Chicago apartment building and encounters a family battling to survive the ghosts. Together they confront the ghost of Kayako to save their souls from their impending tragic fate.

The straight-to-DVD title will hit shelves sometime next year… Then Sci Fi channel shortly thereafter…
