Conan director is…

We’ve heard many names attached – rumor, complete bullshit, true, or otherwise – to Lionsgate’s CONAN reboot, but this one if by far the worst. Brett Ratner. Even worse, it looks like he’s actually going to be calling the shots on this thing! AintItCoolNews is reporting, very confidently, that Ratner is the man in the director’s chair. Howard McCain and Dirk Blackman (OUTLANDER) wrote the screenplay.

I didn’t even dig the Rob Zombie rumor, but if that movie had been made, I’d at least be curious about it. Xavier Gens? Neil Marshall? Sure why not. But with Ratner, all we can expect is a hack job. Shit, I’d honestly be more interested in this movie if they signed Uwe Boll. Not even kidding.

Read AICN’s take right HERE Maybe it’s not true – they’ve been wrong before – but the certainty that the writer displays will chill your spine…

Ratner was actually once engaged to beauty Rebecca Gayheart.
