Anthology of Fear

I just got the word on a brand new horror anthology which will be heading to DVD in 2009. It’s called GALLERY OF FEAR and seems to be featuring a nice assortment of demented tales. Though I don’t have the precise plots for each short flick, I do have a fairly large assortment of info. Let’s begin:

The first two flicks are coming from writer/director Alan Rowe Kelly (THE BLOOD SHED). One is called A FAR CRY FROM HOME which follows a young gay couple when they stop at a “hex store” in the northern New Jersey wilderness. Unbeknownst to them, the family running the store is a homophobic religious sect who don’t take kindly to their kind ’round these parts. It’s said to be very grisly. The cast consists of Don Money, Jerry Murdock, Katherine O’Sullivan, Susan Adriensen, Robb Leigh Davis, and Terry M. West.

Kelly’s other flick is called DOWN THE DRAIN and from the poster up top, I’m guessing it has something to do with a pipe-dwelling monster. It stars Jerry Murdock, Raine Brown (below), Mike Lane, Tom Lanier, Henry Boriello, Robert Norman and Miguel Lopez.

The other two short flicks for GALLERY come from writer/director Anthony Sumner (JITTERS). The first is called BY HER HAND, SHE DRAWS YOU DOWN which tells the chilling story of an artist with a great (and strange) hunger. It stars Zoë Daelman Chlanda, Jerry Murdock, Joshua Neslon, and Terry Shane.

And last but not least, we have IT RIPS! which, again, does not reveal its plot, but I’m guessing it’s also about some big scary monster that most likely rips. This one stars Debbie DiVerde.
