Well spank my ass and call me a bitch if this isn’t one of the coolest TV-show ideas to come along in quite some time! And it comes as no surprise to me that said “idea” stemmed from the brain of Mike Dougherty (right), writer of X-MEN 2 and writer/director of the why-the-f*ck-hasn’t-the-dumbass-studio-released-it-yet Halloween horror flick, TRICK R TREAT. What exactly is this genius of a television notion that I speak of? Well, I’ll start off by revealing the title: BITCHES. Awesome already, right? And no, it’s not a starring vehicle for the cast of THE HILLS. Check this beeyach out:
Dougherty describes his project as being “about four women living in New York City who are werewolves. It’s SEX & THE CITY with werewolves! They seduce people, then they eat them! The series will answer the questions: how do they feed, where do they work… It’s very funny.”
How the hell can you beat that?! A bunch of werewolf babes tearing it up in the city! I’m so there! Hey, how about they have an episode where the were-babes eat the SEX & THE CITY grannies?!
I can’t believe a TV series with the name BITCHES is going into production most likely next year! I guess the success of HBO’s TRUE BLOOD has started a wave of “old school monsters in modern day settings” to become in demand for the small screen. I’ll give you more info on BITCHES as I hear it. BITCHES, BITCHES, BITCHES! I love saying that!
