More Sorority info

It’s no secret that I’m pretty friggin’ jazzed about the upcoming SORORITY ROW remake. Maybe it’s because I’m such a fan of the original (which has a slightly longer title with “THE HOUSE ON” tacked onto the beginning). Maybe it’s because it’s cool to see a lesser-known 80’s horror flick getting the big studio treatment. Or maybe it’s because sororities and slashers usually make such wonderful fright flick couples.

Regardless, I’m looking forward to pledging this ROW, which is indeed aiming for a nice and gory “hard R” rating. And it’s nice to see the flick’s writer, Josh Stolberg, keeping us updated on all the pre-shooting, behind-the-scenes action taking place. Check out what the dude just wrote on his official blog regarding some initial rehearsals:

“We’ve had several blocking rehearsals with Briana [Evigan], Leah [Pipes], Rumer [Willis], and [Jamie] Chung. Margo Harshman (who plays Chugs) joined us this afternoon for the first time. It’s been a blast to see the scenes come alive as [director] Stewart [Hendler] starts to work with them. I couldn’t be happier with the cast. Everyone is excited and passionate and really gung-ho to make a cool film. I can’t wait to see it all start to come together for real next week.”

That’s usually good news when the writer of a flick is pleased. Hopefully all these positive rehearsals translate well once the camera starts rolling. For more info on ROW, you can check out Mr. Stolberg’s blog on a regular basis.
