Admit it, you thirst for a third UNDER SIEGE. You’d relish it. I’m sure a certain Mr. Steven Seagal would, too. But the formula for those films (which is, as well all know, “DIE HARD on a…”) is pretty stale at the moment… What might bring some life to the proceedings? How about some f*cking aliens?!
Seagal talked with MTV recently, and let those cats know that he’s eager to bring the UNDER SIEGE franchise into the modern era… Modern apparently means including outer-space beings and supernatural hocus-pocus.
“I personally want it to be something more modern…In other words, I wouldn’t mind if it was about something more mystical or…maybe extraterrestrial in nature. Some real government top secrets instead of just the typical.”
I can get on board with that. Ah hell, I’d love to watch Seagal karate chop an alien in the face, knee it in the groin before saying “Probe this!” and smashing its head though a plate glass window. Now we just need a studio who is as progressive as Seagal – and his fanbase – is…
