I figured I just had to go for the Bill Moseley trifecta today, after articles about the actor’s roles in REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA and HOUSE. This time we’re talking about THE TORTURED, the thriller Moseley appears in with Jesse Melcalfe and Erika Christensen. This is the first picture from the flick, which shows Moseley’s character in court, where according to the synopsis’, he’s about to be acquitted for a horrible crime.

In addition to that image, Fangoria gives us a new look into the plot: THE TORTURED is told in non-linear fashion as it recounts how a couple (Christensen and Metcalfe) track down Kozlowski (Moseley), the man who brutalized and murdered their son and force him to experience torture himself. The story of how they got to this point is told through flashbacks: the kidnapping of their child; the discovery of the body; the breakdown of the relationship; the trial and its devastating aftermath as Kozlowski is set free on a technicality.
