Basinger’s Out

LatinoReview alerted my to a movie I had not yet heard of called WHILE SHE WAS OUT which sounds pretty cool, a flick in the “lone woman takes on sadistic thugs” mold starring Kim Basinger! After some quick investigating I discovered we wrote about it a little while ago. Well, actually, two years ago. (Check it out HERE.)

One of the L.R. boys scored a sneak peek at the film, and so I figured this was a good opportunity to make you aware of its existence. It’s also a good opportunity to post a hot pic of Kim, and I’m shameless enough to do it, and you’re shameless enough to pop a chubby over it. (Pic above is from the film.)

Here’s what this damsel is all about: A suburban housewife (Basinger) is forced to fend for herself when she becomes stranded in a desolate forest with four murderous thugs. What starts off as a quick trip to the mall ends in the woods with a fight for her life. All she has is a toolbox and her will to survive.

Can’t wait to see how that toolbox comes into play!

The flick was directed by SHOOT ‘EM UP producer Susan Montford, and also stars Lukas Haas, Luis Chávez, Erika-Shaye Gair, Luke Gair, Jennifer Kitchen, and Craig Sheffer (time for this guy to make a comeback, eh?). It hits theaters in December.
