Less than a month ago, I let you all know of the latest entry into the “online horror” genre called IMURDERS. I also mentioned how similar it seemed to a treatment that I’m currently circulating (they better not have plagiarized me or I’ll sue… just kidding… but not really). Anyways, IMURDERS still sounds like a fun, cheesy ride (mine isn’t cheesy). And now, it also looks like a fun, cheesy ride thanks to Fango’s exclusive look at its first trailer. There’s screams, scares, some great genre stars, a hint of lesbianism, and of course, people typing online. The plot reads like this: A mysterious love triangle leads to a tragic shooting. Months later, eight members of a Myspace-esque chat room are being gruesomely murdered in the privacy of their own homes.
IMURDERS was directed by Robbie Bryan who co-wrote the script with Ken Del Vecchio (hope you guys have a good lawyer… kidding again). The aforementioned genre stars are Tony Todd, William Forsythe, Gabrielle Anwar (below), Charles Durning, and Billy Dee Williams, plus Terri Colombino, Frank Grillo, Dan Grimaldi, Frank Grillo, Miranda Kwok, and Brooke Lewis. No word yet on an official release, but you can check out its MySpace page here.
